Potatoes Mousakka
Hey everyone! Today, I want to share with you my delicious potato moussaka recipe. This hearty dish is perfect for those cozy family dinners or when you're craving some comfort food.
Steps
- 1
Peel off the potatoes and cut them into really thin slices.
- 2
Then peel two onions and dice them as in the photo, place the onions and the ground beef in a pan to cook on high speed.
- 3
Add at least 50 ml of sunflower oil.
1 tsp of black pepper, mixed spices, and garlic powder - 4
After the ground, beef and bechamel sauce have been prepared. Place the onions and the ground beef in a pan to cook on high speed.roceed by layering the slices of potatoes in a baking pan
- 5
Proceed with the ground beef and bechamel and a handful of mozzeralla cheese
- 6
Repeat the same process until the baking pan is filled with layers. Top it off with mlre gratedmozzarella cheese or gouda. Cover it in foil and place it in the oven at 250°C for the first hour, then check the situation on the potatoes.
- 7
After one hour you can lower the temp. To 220 °C and remove the foil. Please poke them with a fork and see.if you can get through easily, they're ready to serve..in my case the potatoes weren't cooked as much so I had to do 1h or 1h 45 minutes to cook them throughly.
- 8
After two hours of cooking, we were ready to enjoy the moussaka.
- 9
I accompanied it with a salad with homemade croutons, which I would love to share the recipe on another blog.
