My husband’s aunt Joan told me about her amazing discovery of Asian Fried Noodle Salad. She even gave me a bag of the fried noodles. The recipe was on the package of the noodles but I found it too sweet. So, I create my own dressing for the salad. I used a bag of ready-to eat coleslaw vegetable mix today. Those vegetable bags are great help when I am very busy.

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 400 gMix of Coleslaw Vegetables *e.g. Cabbage, Red Cabbage, Carrot, Wombok, Spring Onions, Corn Kernels, etc
  2. 100 gFried Noodles
  3. Dressing
  4. 2 tablespoonSugar
  5. 4 tablespoonsRice Vinegar
  6. 1 tablespoonSoy Sauce
  7. 1 tablespoonSesame Oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all the Dressing Ingredients in a small bowl OR jug, and mix well.

  2. 2

    Cut vegetables into thin strips. Mix the vegetables and Fried Noodles in a large serving bowl. *Note: I used 'Chang's' Fried Noodles.

  3. 3

    Just before serve, pour over the dressing, and mix to combine.
