♪French Toast in the Toaster♪

Chewy texture♪ No frying pan needed

A friend taught me this many years ago, and I make it on mornings when I have 15 minutes to use the toaster (haha).

1. Cut the sandwich bread into 12 pieces by slicing it into thirds lengthwise and quarters crosswise.

1. In a bowl, mix the eggs, milk, and sugar well.
2. Soak the cut bread pieces in the egg mixture (● mixture) to absorb it. - 3
1. Place the egg mixture (● mixture) and bread in a heatproof dish and bake for about 15 minutes.
This uses a 740W toaster. - 4
I use the 740W setting labeled for gratin and toaster, but adjust the baking time according to your toaster's wattage.

1. Serve on a plate (or not) and sprinkle your favorite toppings to finish♪
I use powdered sugar on top and cinnamon powder on the bottom♡ - 6
This time I served it on a plate, but since it sticks a little, I usually eat it directly from the gratin dish with half sugar and half cinnamon^^
