Preheat the taiyaki plate.

In a bowl, whisk together the egg and honey until well combined.

Add the milk and mix well.

Add the pancake mix and potato starch, and stir until the batter is smooth and no dry spots remain.

Pour the batter into the taiyaki mold until about 90% full, add your desired filling (it will sink), and cook for about 4 minutes.
