
Lentils bulgur Buffer with Cucumber salad

Cooking Instructions

Cook lentils in 1200ml water till it becomes soft. Take away from the stove and fill the pot with water just above the lentil level then add the bulgur and leave it for an hour to swell.

Heat half the amount of oil and add the onions and garlic and stir till the become soft. Add thethe Cumin, Coriander and Curcuma.

Onion spices mix together with flour, eggs and salt should be now added to the mix.

Heat a pan with a bit of olive oil then start adding spoon wise from the mixture and press it to a round form and bake for 3 minutes each side.

For the yoghurt salad:

Remove the seeds from the cucumber and cut into small fine pieces. add it to the yoghurt and garlic mix.

Serve the buffer warm together with the cucumber salad and Sahtain....
