No stove needed. Just one bowl to wash. The taste is just like always—this is a game changer! Featured on June 16, 2012. Recipe background: In our house, we often boil water in the microwave, so I thought, why not make ramen the same way? I gave it a try!
Steps
- 1
Prepare a microwave-safe heatproof bowl, a deep silicone dish, or a ramen bowl. (We use a ramen bowl at home.)
- 2
Add the soup powder, ramen noodles, and vegetables to the bowl in that order. (If using vegetables that take longer to cook, place them under the noodles.)
- 3
Add the amount of water listed on the ramen package plus 3 1/2 tablespoons (about 50 ml). Cover tightly with plastic wrap. (If you only cover it loosely, the water may boil over.)
- 4
Microwave at 900W for the time listed on the package plus 4 minutes. If the noodles are still too firm, microwave a little longer as needed.
