Vanilla Milk Pudding

A simple, subtly flavoured dessert for the winter ❄️

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 400 mlwhole milk
  2. 3 tablespoonsbrown sugar
  3. 5 gramspowdered gelatin
  4. 50 mlhot water
  5. a fewdrops of vanilla essence

Cooking Instructions

    Combine sugar with milk in a pot over low to medium heat. Stir until the sugar has melted but don't let the mixture boil

  2. 2

    Dissolve powdered gelatin in hot water and add to the pot. Stir the mixture and heat for about 5 minutes

  3. 3

    Remove from heat and stir in a few drops of vanilla essence to taste

  4. 4

    Pour the mixture evenly into glass or ceramic containers and let it cool to room temperature

  5. 5

    Chill the pudding in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours to solidify.

Can you put a teabag in it while it’s still hot to make it flavored something other than vanilla?
