In a mixing bowl take wheat flour, add water and knead to a firm dough, keep aside.

In another mixing bowl, take potato add ginger, chili, garam masala and salt, mix well.

Divide the dough into equal sized balls, roll into a 4-5 inch circle, place about 2 tablespoons of the prepared filling, and close by bringing the edges to the center, now roll into a 7-8 inch circle.

On a heated griddle, place the rolled paratha, flip after few seconds, brush with oil, brush again with oil and cook until you see light brown spots. Repeat to make several parathas.

Serve hot with curd and pickle.
