Ingredients

Makes enough for about 2 chicken thighs.

5 tablespoonssoy sauce (about 75 ml)
3 tablespoonssugar (about 38 grams)
1 tablespoonmirin (about 15 ml)
1 tablespoonsake (about 15 ml)
1 clovegarlic (grated)

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat until the sauce thickens.

Grill your preferred chicken pieces and coat them with the sauce.

For even better flavor, brush the sauce on and quickly grill again.
