I love navel oranges and eat them often. I also take them in my lunchbox. This method is the easiest and keeps the segments intact, so I decided to share it.

Cut off the top and bottom of the navel orange with a sharp knife to stabilize it. Cut into 6 equal parts, avoiding the thin skin and aiming for the center of each segment.

Use a small knife to separate the peel from the segments.
