  • 2 cupscooked leftover rice (about 400 grams)
  • 1 tablespoonmiso
  • 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  • 1 tablespoonsugar

    Gather all the ingredients.

    Mix the miso, soy sauce, and sugar together.

    Add the mixture to the rice, which has been lightly warmed in the microwave, and mix well.

    Mix until evenly combined.

    Heat oil in a skillet and grill the rice balls until the surface becomes firm and browned.

    Flip and grill the other side until golden brown.

    Thank you, ココママ22! Mix the sauce into the rice a little at a time, just enough so you can shape the rice balls. After grilling, brush a little more sauce on the surface and grill again.
