Meatballs with Peas and Carrots in a Pressure Cooker

Combine the ground beef and pork in a large bowl.

Add 2 finely chopped garlic cloves, eggs, cilantro, cumin, salt, and diced bacon to the meat.

Add the bread crumb.

Mix everything well.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.

Start preparing the sauce.

Chop the 3 garlic cloves and the onion.

Heat oil in the pressure cooker.

Sauté the chopped onion and garlic until soft and golden.

Add the crushed tomatoes.

Cook and stir for about 5 minutes.

Add the frozen peas and the carrots, peeled and sliced.

Pour in about 2 cups (about 480 ml) of water and the wine.

Close the pressure cooker and, once it reaches pressure (second ring), cook for 5 minutes.

Shape the meat mixture into balls and coat them in flour.

Fry the meatballs in a deep fryer or a skillet with plenty of oil.

Open the pressure cooker and add the fried meatballs. Stir and simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.

Serve with white rice, French fries, or as you like. Delicious!
