Ingredients

1/3 cuppeanut butter (about 80g)
1/4 cupshortening (about 50g)
1/4 cuplight brown sugar (about 50g)
2 tablespoonsmilk (about 30ml)
1/2medium egg
1 dashvanilla extract
3/4 cupall-purpose flour (about 100g)
1/2 teaspoonbaking soda (about 2g)
1/2 teaspoonsalt (about 2g)

Steps

Measure and mix the ingredients marked with ⚫︎ in a bowl until smooth.

Sift the ingredients marked with ⚪︎ and add them to the bowl from step 1. Mix well.

Place teaspoon-sized portions on a baking sheet and use the back of a fork to create a pattern.

Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 12 minutes.
