  3. 1 cupsweet potato starch (about 125g)
  4. 1/3 cuppowdered sugar (about 40g)
  5. 2/3 cupall-purpose flour (about 80g)

    Soften the butter at room temperature and mix with powdered sugar until creamy.

  2. 2

    Add the all-purpose flour and sweet potato starch in three batches, mixing well each time (do not overmix to avoid gluten formation).

  3. 3

    Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.

  4. 4

    Divide the dough into portions of about 8-10g each for the chicken bodies.

    Shape the dough into ovals, decorate with black sesame seeds for eyes, sugar sprinkles for the comb, beak, and wings, and chocolate chips for the feet.

    Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes.
