Steps

Combine the ingredients marked with ☆ in a small saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring.

Remove from heat, add peanut butter and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.

Add the oatmeal and mix well, then drop onto a baking sheet lined with wax paper or parchment paper using a scoop.

Press down slightly to shape, and let them set at room temperature. You can also refrigerate them.
