Rice Krispie Treats with Hardtack

Hardtack for emergency storage... When it's nearing its expiration date, transform it into a sweet treat! It's fun to make with kids, too. A great way to use up hardtack.
The origin of this recipe
Even though it's part of our rolling stock, we don't usually eat hardtack. I thought of a way to remake it and remembered making Rice Krispie Treats with my kids in the past.
