Today, I have an easy-to-make dish with a slightly sweet honey flavor that both kids and adults will enjoy. ^_^
Steps
- 1
Here's what all the ingredients look like.
- 2
First, cut the spare ribs into bite-sized pieces, wash them thoroughly, and let them drain in a colander.
- 3
Fry the ribs in oil until they are golden all over, but not fully cooked. Then, set them aside.
- 4
Mix the ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, salt, and ground black pepper together.
- 5
It should look like this.
- 6
Add the fried ribs to the sauce, mix well, and marinate for 1 hour.
- 7
After marinating, pour the ribs and sauce into a small pot, add water, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Let it cook for about 40 - 50 minutes until done.
- 8
And here you have the honey-braised pork ribs, as shown in the picture.
