Ingredients

Small portion for 1 person
  • 1/3 cupoats (about 30 grams)
  • 1/3 cupmilk (about 70 ml, soy milk or oat milk also works)
  • 1/4 cupyogurt (about 40 grams)
  • Toppings of your choice (such as fruits, nuts, or cinnamon)

Steps

    Combine oats, milk, and yogurt in a bowl or container.

    Greek yogurt is recommended. Plain or flavored yogurt is also fine.

    Add your choice of toppings. There are many recommendations!

    Mix well. If using a container, shaking is the easiest method. If using a bowl, cover with plastic wrap.

    Refrigerate overnight (at least 4 hours).

    Ta-da! It's delicious cold and super easy, but it's also tasty warm. To warm, microwave it.

    If it's not creamy enough, you can add a bit more milk. If it's too liquidy, add more oats.

    Suggestions: banana, cocoa powder, apple cinnamon, cinnamon, berries, honey, matcha powder, protein powder, okara powder, nuts.

    If you add dried fruits (like raisins), they'll become plump by morning! Berries can be used fresh or frozen.
