Steps
- 1
Bring a medium pot of water to the boil, once boiling add salt, then spaghetti. Cook for 10 minutes for al-dente or 12 minutes for fully done.
- 2
Whilst boiling heat a small pan with oil gently on medium heat. Add lardons and cook until browned and crispy (I prefer them to still be chewy rather than crunchy). Add garlic powder after and set aside.
- 3
In a small bowl, beat an egg, after add half of the parmesan cheese and mix well.
- 4
When the spaghetti is ready, save half a mug of the water, get rid of the rest. Return spaghetti to the empty pot. Add lardons and egg mixture to the pot.
- 5
Add small amount of water and continuously mix until the consistency is best for your liking. Add the parsley and serve with black pepper on top, with the rest of the parmesan. Enjoy!
