Ingredients

Serves 2 servings
  1. 1/2medium onion
  2. 1small carrot
  3. 2 bowlscooked rice (about 2 cups, 320 grams)
  4. 3 tablespoonsketchup
  5. 1 1/2 teaspoonschicken bouillon granules
  6. Salt and pepper, to taste
  7. 4eggs
  8. 2 tablespoonsmilk
  9. Salt and pepper, to taste
  10. 3 tablespoonsmilk
  11. 2 slicesAmerican cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Finely chop the onion and carrot. Microwave at 700W for 5 minutes (or about 5 1/2 minutes at 600W).

  2. 2

    Mix the warm rice with the cooked vegetables and the ketchup, chicken bouillon, and salt and pepper. Place on plates.

  3. 3

    Beat the eggs with milk, salt, and pepper.

  4. 4

    Heat a frying pan with butter and cook half of the egg mixture to make an omelet. Repeat for the second omelet.

  5. 5

    Place the omelets on top of the rice.

  6. 6

    Tear the cheese slices into pieces and add to the milk. Microwave at 700W for 1 minute (or about 1 1/2 minutes at 600W).

  7. 7

    Stir quickly, then microwave again at 700W for 30 seconds (or about 45 seconds at 600W).

  8. 8

    Pour the cheese sauce over the omelets and serve!
