Ingredients

6 ppl
  • 1 1/2 cupboiled rice
  • 1/2carrot - cut into cubes
  • 10beans - cut into cubes
  • 100 gmsjackfruit cut into v small pcs (fried & then boiled)
  • 1small potato - cut into cubes
  • 50 gmspaneer cubed & fried
  • 1medium onion cut into thick julliens
  • 3/4 cupgreen methi
  • 3/4 cuppeas
  • 1 pinchkesar
  • 3 tbspKewra essence
  • 1/2 tspelaichi powder
  • 2 tbspghee
  • 2 tbspcurd
  • 2 tbspcream
  • 1/2 tspbiryani masala
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • 1/2 tspjavitry powder
  • Salt
  • 1/2-1 tspHaldi
  • 1 tspDegi mirch
  • 1/2jeera
  • 2badi elaichi
  • 2Choti elaichi
  • 1tej patta

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak kesar and elaichi powder in Kewra.

  2. 2

    Boil together carrots, beans, peas.fry potatoes

  3. 3

    In a deep non stick pan put ghee add all garam masalas, jeera and onions. Sauté till little brown.

  4. 4

    In a bowl add curd and cream, javitry,biryani masala, haldi,salt, Degi mirch.

  5. 5

    With the help of a spatula add rice and the masalas in the 5th step.now add Kewra mix and place your pan on tava on low flame for 1/2 hour but stirring it in between.before serving garnish with coriander n julliens of ginger.

  6. 6

    If you like you can fry some dry fruits in ghee and garnish them.
