Ingredients

prep. 10 minutes
2 serving
  • 1/2 small cup makhana
  • 2cucumber
  • 1 cupchilled curd
  • 2 tspsugar
  • 2 tspchopped tomatoes
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsproasted jeera powder
  • 1/4 tspsendha salt
  • 2 tsppomegranate seeds

Steps

prep. 10 minutes
  1. 1

    Roast makhana on a very slow flame until it becomes crunchy. Keep aside to cool completely.

    Wash cucumber and cut a long, thin slit on upperside. Remove cucumber pulp with the help of peeler or small spoon to make a long and deep cavity. And cut a small sit on the downside of cucumber to balance as a boat.

    In curd, add salt, sugar, mix well. Add makhana and dip in curd properly. Add cucumber pulp and tomatoes. Mix well.

    Now put raita in the cucumber cavity. Sprinkle roasted jeera powder and red chilli powder on it.
    Garnish with chopped coriander, tomatoes, and pomegranate seeds.

    Keep in the fridge, and serve chilled raita. Enjoy..
