In the cooker add all dal turmeric ghee salt green chili and ginger in it make 4 whistle and cook dal
Blend the dal if you want and keep it aside (this step is optional)

Now heat up kadhai and add oil bay leaf red chilli and jeera in it now add garlic in it saute for 30 second
Now add onion in it and saute for 1 minute

Now add tomato and cook for 2 minutes
Now add all the masala and add this tadka in dal and cook For 5 minutes

Enjoy dal fry!
