Ingredients

2-3 people
  • 2 cupsdiced pumpkin
  • 3 tbspoil
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1/2 tspfenugreek seeds
  • 1/4 tspasafoetida powder
  • 1/2 tspgarlic paste
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspchilli powder
  • 1 tspsalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut pumpkin into 1cm dices after removing the skin and the seeds with fibers.

  2. 2

    Heat up oil, add cumin and fenugreek seeds followed by asafoetida powder and garlic. Fry for a few seconds and then add turmeric powder, pumpkin and salt. Combine well, cover and cook till pumpkin is thoroughly cooked. Stir every few minutes.

  3. 3

    Add chilli powder, combine and cook on low till oil oozes. It's ready!
