Special Pork & Shrimp Siomai with Garlic Chili Sauce

Cooking Instructions

Mix all the ingredients together.

Get about one ice cream scoop of mixture and place it in the center of your wrapper and the just fold all sides and squeeze so that the meat is showing on top (it doesn't have to be perfect, it's like you are hugging the meat with the wrapper).

Get your steamer ready by wiping a bit of oil at the bottom. Place your siomai on the steamer and let it steam for 15–20 minutes (If you freeze your siomai first before steaming, then allow a bit more time for steaming. Just check it after 20 minutes and you decide).

While you are waiting for the siomai to cook. Mix all your sauce ingredients in a pan and let it cook until the liquid evaporates completely and all that is left is the garlic, chili and oil. Serve with your favorite sweet chili sauce or dumpling sauce. Enjoy.
