Beef shawarma is one of the tastiest sandwiches and very easy to make, especially if you marinate it properly. In this recipe, I'll share some tips to make it even better than takeout.

Marinate the beef for no more than 10 minutes. This applies to all meat recipes to keep the beef flavor and avoid overpowering it with spices. If you prefer it richer, you can add 3.5 oz (100 grams) beef fat to the meat before marinating.

In a nonstick pan, heat 2 tablespoons oil and add the beef. Stir until the color changes.

Cover the beef, reduce the heat, and stir every 5 minutes.

When almost done, add sliced onions and bell peppers. Stir for 2 minutes.

Serve in tortilla wraps or hoagie rolls, garnish with ketchup, and serve with French fries. Enjoy!
