Peanut Butter and Chocolate No Bake Cookies

This is an old family favorite and a popular treat in America. The recipe is pretty sweet so you can probably safely reduce the sugar! Both kinds contain peanut butter, but you can optionally leave out the cocoa powder for just peanut butter cookies. Takes no more than 10 minutes to make (though you'll have to wait a while for them to set)! Get creative by mixing in coconut flakes, nuts, nutella, chocolate chips or whatever sounds fun!

Steps
- 1
In a large pot, melt butter and combine with cocoa, sugar and milk. Bring to a simmer and cook 1 minute. (Leave cocoa out for plain peanut butter cookies).
- 2
Remove from heat. Add oats, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix until well combined.
- 3
Roll out some wax paper. Using a spoon, drop cookies onto the wax paper. Let them sit, uncovered until set enough to pick up without falling apart (usually takes 30-60 minutes). Store in plastic bags or tupperware.
