Lentils with Bacon

After rinsing the lentils, cook them with salt and cilantro.

Meanwhile, cut the tomatoes and onion into large pieces.

Fry the bacon (no oil needed) and the hot dogs, cut into small pieces.

Blend the tomatoes, onion, and chicken bouillon cubes. You can add a little tomato bouillon powder if you like (optional).

Add the blended mixture to the bacon and cook until it becomes a lighter-colored sauce.

Once the lentils are cooked, add the bacon and sauce mixture, and cook for another 15–17 minutes.

If you’re using spinach, add it after 15 minutes and cook for another 3–5 minutes. Done! Serve with avocado.
