Rinse the lentils well. Sauté an onion in a little olive oil.

Add the lentils and stir. Pour in water and bring to a boil for a few minutes. Add cumin, salt, mixed spices, bouillon powder, and garlic. Let it simmer until the lentils are tender.

Add a little corn oil, then add the soaked rice. Cook until the rice is done.

Fry thinly sliced onions until golden brown.

To make the sauce, blend all the sauce ingredients together until smooth.

Place the rice and lentils on a serving platter, top with the fried onions, and serve with yogurt, salad, the sauce, and pickles. Enjoy!
