Soak your rice overnight. Next day, drain the water from your rice but do not throw the water away. Add rice and evaporated milk or coconut milk in a blender and blend until mixture becomes smooth.

Pour mixture in a bowl then add the egg, sugar and baking powder. Mix together until smooth and set aside.

In a pan, pour your rice flour and add the water that you used to soak your rice (should be approximately 2 cups). Mix it together until mixture becomes thick and sticky. Add it immediately to your rice mixture and mix thoroughly.

Prepare your mold by brushing either oil or melted butter to prevent from sticking and place it in your steamer. Then pour your mixture in each mold up to the rim. Steam for about 30 minutes.
