Steps
- 1
Take fresh raw bananas. you can take any raw banana. I have used nendra banana. The banana should be raw but not tender. Now apply little oil to your fingers and peel the banana using a knife. After peeling immerse the peeled banans in water having normal temperature.
- 2
Next in a bowl prepare salted turmeric water by adding salt, water and turmeric powder.
- 3
Heat oil in a deep frying pan and slice the banana directly into the hot oil if possible. Or alternately slice the banana using a slicer. If do not have the slicer try to make thin and even slices using a knife.
- 4
Next drop the banana slices one by one into the hot oil.Next add in around 1/2 tsp of salted turmeric water over the chips. The oil will start sizzling with more bubbles. Do not worry, it is perfectly normal.
- 5
Within no time sound as well as bubbles will subside. Flip the chips using spatula. When the bubbles are completely stopped take out the chips using a dip frying spatula. Enjoy crispy, homemade, tasty chips with a cup of tea and enjoy. Cool down and store in airtight container. Repeat to finish. Fry in small batches, do not crowd. Enjoy Nendran Chips!
