Steps

In a pan dry roast horse gram for 4- 5 minutes on low to medium flame, stir continuously. Then transfer in a plate and allow to cool.

In the mean time grind garlic cloves,ginger,green chillies, cumin seeds. Don't use water while grinding.

In a separate mixer jar grind horse gram, but don't make very fine flour.

Heat oil in a kadai,add mustard seeds, once it splutter add asafoetida, curry leaves and add coarsely ground mixture of ginger- garlic, green chillies, cumin seeds and saute properly to remove rawness..

Add water and let it boil add salt and once water starts boiling, add horse gram flour and stir continuously to avoid lump formation.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
