Potol Posto is a classic recipe from Bengal cuisine where a paste of Posto or poppy seeds with black & yellow mustard seeds are added to fried Potol
Steps

Wash Potol, peel and cut into halves. Smear with turmeric & red chilli powder, pinch of salt and mix

In a wok heat 1 Tbsp mustard oil, add the Potol and fry for 2-3 mins, set aside
- 3
Make a paste of Posto, yellow, black mustard seeds with green chillies, add water and set aside.

To the wok add rest of the oil, add Nigella seeds, strain the paste and on medium flame stir to cook

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, mix until oil surfaces
- 6
Add slit green chillies and fried Potol, add little water, salt and stir. Cover to cook for 5 mins

When oil surfaces, Potol is cooked then drizzle mustard oil. Serve with steamed rice and dal
