Steps
- 1
Cut 6 slices of pork in half lengthwise. Wrap the cherry tomatoes in pork and thread them onto bamboo skewers.
- 2
Wrap pork around all the cherry tomatoes and thread them onto skewers, then mix tempura flour and water well.
- 3
Dip the cherry tomato pork rolls in tempura flour batter and then coat with breadcrumbs.
- 4
Make sure the breadcrumbs are evenly distributed around the edges.
Deep fry in 180℃ oil until golden brown. - 5
Sprinkle some salt on it and enjoy it hot.
The juicy cherry tomatoes peeking out from inside the crispy cutlet make it very delicious. - 6
If you can't get sliced pork, you can use bacon instead. I like to eat it with salt, but it's also delicious with Japanese tonkatsu sauce.
