Ingredients

30 minutes
3-4 servings
  1. 1 cupsoya chunks
  2. 1/4 cupchana daal
  3. 2 Tbspgreen peas
  4. 2 Tbspsweetcorn
  5. 1onion chopped finely
  6. 2 Tbspgarlic chopped
  7. 2tomatoes chopped
  8. The masala powder
  9. 2 Tspcoriander powder
  10. 1 Tspcumin powder
  11. 1 Tspdry ginger powder
  12. 1 Tspgaram masala powder
  13. 1/4 Tsprock salt
  14. 1/2 Tspchaat masala
  15. 1/3 Tspdry mango powder
  16. 1/4 Tspturmeric powder
  17. 1 Tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  18. 1/3 Tspblack pepper crushed
  19. 1/2+ 1 Tsp salt
  20. 1/2 Tspcumin seeds
  21. 1bay leaf
  22. 1/2Water or as required
  23. 2 Tbspvegetable oil
  24. 2 Tbsptomatoes garnish

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Arrange and assemble the required ingredients first. Soak and boil the soya chunks and Chana in hot water for 10 minutes with 1/2 Tsp salt.

    Decat to a colander and wash with cold water. Remove water from soya by pressing.

    Boil green peas and sweetcorn with water. I boiled it in the microwave. Mix soya and seeds now.

    Heat oil in a wide pan. Crackle cumin seeds. Add bay leaf and saute a while. Mix chopped onion and garlic and saute till aromatic and onion be translucent.

    Now add chopped tomatoes, masala powders, garam masala and chilli powder. Saute on low flame for half a minute and add 1/2 cup water.

    When the water starts boiling, add soya and boiled vegetables. Adjust the rest salt as per taste and mix well.

    Cook till all the water is absorbed. Garnish with chopped tomatoes or as required and serve the yummy recipes as a dry curry for rice and roti or as snacks.Thanks.
