Chevon maka with fried chips

This dish was actually inspired by my brother! He's a huge fan of classic comfort food – think goat meat and chips. But I wanted to add a healthier twist while still keeping the flavors he loves. The oven-roasted goat meat thigh is a leaner alternative to other cuts, and the side salad brings a fresh, balanced element to the meal.
I love the way the rich, savory flavors of the chevon complement the crispy texture of the fries. The salad adds a refreshing crunch and a burst of vitamins. It's the perfect combination of comfort and health! For me, this dish is about creating a satisfying meal that everyone can enjoy."

Steps
- 1
Preparing the goat meat :
Preheat your oven to the desired temperature (around 180°C/350°F).
Season the chavon thigh generously with your chosen spices.
Sear the beef in a hot skillet with a drizzle of olive oil for a few minutes on each side to seal in the juices.
Place the seared chevon in a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for the desired cooking time. Check the internal temperature to ensure it reaches your preferred level of doneness. - 2
Preparing the Fries:
Cut potatoes into your desired fry shape.
Soak the fries in cold water for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
Drain the fries and pat them dry with paper towels.
Toss the fries with olive oil and your preferred seasonings (e.g., salt, pepper, paprika).
Bake the fries in the oven alongside the beef, or air-fry them for a healthier option - 3
Preparing the Salad:
Wash and dry your chosen salad greens.
Chop other salad ingredients like tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
Combine the salad ingredients in a bowl.
Prepare your desired salad dressing and drizzle over the salad.
