Ingredients

30 minutes
Makes 4 rotis
  1. 1 cupbajra flour (pearl millet)
  2. 1medium potato 🥔, boiled peeled & mashed
  3. 1 tbsponions 🧅, finely chopped
  4. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  5. 1/2 tspgreen chilli - ginger paste
  6. 1/2 tspdried mango powder
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Dry Bajra flour for rolling
  9. Warm water to knead the dough
  10. Butter to apply on the rotis
  11. Jaggery & ghee as an accompaniment

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Combine all the ingredients & make a medium soft dough using warm water. Do not rest the dough.

    Divide the dough into 4 portions.

    Roll one portion of the dough, using dry bajra flour.

    Heat a girdle & cook the roti on both sides using little ghee. Remove in a plate,apply butter on them & serve with them with jaggery & ghee. Bajra rotis are ideally eaten with jaggery (gur) & ghee, which makes these rotis even more healthy & nutritious.
