Steps

Grease the 6 inch round tin and keep aside. Grate the jaggery and slivered nuts,1 cup wheat flour and cardamom ready in a plate. Melt ghee in a kadai.

Add the wheat flour and saute on low flame for 15 to 17 mins or till it turns golden brown in colour, stirring continuously.

Off the flame and add the grated jaggery,crushed cardamom mix well. When the jaggery melts and mixture is still warm pour it into the greased tin,spread it evenly with a flat spoon.

Spread the slivered almond and pistachios and with the help of a small bowl press it gently all over the gol papdi.

Cut the gol papdi into daimond shapes while still warm. When cooled remove the Gol Papdi pieces from the tin and store in an airtight container.
