Ham and Bacon Croquettes

Boil the peeled potatoes for 20 to 25 minutes.

Sauté and brown the ham and bacon with the vegetables.

Mash the potatoes and add the butter.

Let the mashed potatoes cool, then add all the ingredients and mix well.

Place the flour in a bowl. Shape the mashed mixture into croquettes using your hands or a utensil, coat them in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and coat again with flour.

Heat lard or oil in a skillet to 360°F to 390°F (about 182°C to 199°C).

Once the oil is hot, fry the croquettes until golden brown.
