Ingredients

3-4 Hours
2 servings
  1. TbspExtra Virgin Olive Oil
  2. 2Medium Red Onions
  3. 500 gDiced Beef
  4. 1/3-1/2 JarPataks Madras Paste
  5. 1Red Pepper
  6. 150 gChestnut Mushrooms
  7. 1/2Large Bulb of Garlic or 6 Large Cloves
  8. 750 mlWater
  9. 1/2Vegetable Stock Cube
  10. 1/2Beef Stock Cube

Steps

3-4 Hours
  1. 1

    Fry Beef and Onions in Olive Oil until browned

  2. 2

    Add Pataks Paste and stir until spices have cooked

  3. 3

    Add Peppers and Fry a little more

  4. 4

    Dissolve Stock in 500ml Hot Water

  5. 5

    Add Stock + remaining 500ml Hot Water

  6. 6

    Allow to simmer for 1 hour

  7. 7

    Crush Garlic & Roughly Chunky Chop Mushrooms

  8. 8

    Add Garlic & Mushrooms, simmer for 2 hours on low.
    Top up with water as it becomes dry.

  9. 9

    When beef is sort and sauce is thick then the curry should be ready!!

  10. 10

    Serve with homemade oven chips or brown rice
