Ingredients

4 to 5 pax
  • 1-1.5kilos Pata slice (front)
  • 2-3 packsBanana blossoms (bulaklak ng saging)
  • 1 literwater
  • 1/2 cupbalsamic vinegar
  • 2knorr pork cubes
  • 2 headgarlic
  • 4onions
  • 2thumb size ginger
  • Whole ground pepper
  • Patis according to taste
  • 2-3 tbspbrown sugar
  • 1/4 cupoyster sauce
  • leavesLaurel

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean well pata slice before cooking.

  2. 2

    Pan sear/sautee meat until golden brown. Set aside in a bowl.

  3. 3

    In the same pan sautee ginger, garlic and onions.

  4. 4

    Put back meat and continue sautering for 3 mins until meat absorbs the garlic, etc.

  5. 5

    Put in a pressure cooker the meat mixture with about a liter of water or until meat is covered water. (Make sure there is enough water not to dry and burn)

  6. 6

    Add laurel leaves and black peppercorn.

  7. 7

    Add knorr cubes.

  8. 8

    Add balsamic vinegar and oyster sauce.

  9. 9

    Pressure cooker for 20 mins. Time starts upon boiling.

  10. 10

    Add banana blossoms.

  11. 11

    Asd 2 to 3 tbsp brown sugar

  12. 12

    Season with patis.
