Today I have made a bengali style chana dal. Lentles / Dal is Vitamins Rich. It's very easy to make. It's very tasty delicious recipe. It's best goes to Luchi / Puri. I think it's favourite dish of many bengali. All bengali cuisine prepared this luchi cholar dal every occasion.

Today I have made a bengali style chana dal. Lentles / Dal is Vitamins Rich. It's very easy to make. It's very tasty delicious recipe. It's best goes to Luchi / Puri. I think it's favourite dish of many bengali. All bengali cuisine prepared this luchi cholar dal every occasion.

First wash the dal and shock it with water for 1 hour. Take a pressure cooker add shocked dal and sufficient water, salt, turmeric powder, fix the lid and allow to cook for 3 whistles. Now heat oil, ghee in a kadai add chopped coconut and fry them and keep aside.

Same kadai add cumin seeds, bay leaves, green chillies and whole garam masala, saute 2 minutes then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, mix it and cook few seconds.

Now add cooked dal, mix it well and cook 2 minutes, then add fried coconut pieces and mix it.

Lastly add sugar, ghee, mix it and cook another 2 minutes. Vitamins Rich chana dal is ready.

Chana dal is ready to serve.
