Galangal is known as Thai Ginger or Siamese Ginger. In Hindi, it's known as Kulanjan/Bara Kulanjan. It is most commonly used in Thai, Malaysian and Indonesian cooking. It's known as Ginger because it resembles fresh Ginger so much. It has many potential benefits. It reduces inflammations, improves fertility and helps in maintaining Brain health.
This Tea or hot concoction is made by me with fresh Galangal and Tulsi Leaves. This Tea is such a wonderful option for any day. It uplifts your mood. Helps you feel good and is absolutely beneficial. It refreshes our mind. Tulsi also known as Holy Basil has great traditional medicinal properties just like Galangal. When both are combined to make a concoction, undoubtedly it's the best. Tulsi Leaves are good for sudden climate changes and are a perfect choice for immunity booster. It helps keep Common cold, Flu, Coughs, Bacteria and infections at bay. Honey or any sweetner can be used in moderation to enjoy it. It's a must have one in Winters.

Steps
- 1
Both thai ginger or galangal and tulsi leaves are to be added to a sauce pan with water as mentioned.
- 2
Bring it to a rolling boil on a high heat at first and then simmer for about 4-5 minutes. That's it.
- 3
Strain and serve it warm with honey added but that's purely optional. One can skip it and sip on this aromatic and flavourful tea all on it's own. Enjoy! Relax!
