Bistecs en salsa verde con calabacitas
Steaks in Green Sauce with Zucchini

Mercedes Cossío @RecetasMercedes
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Sprinkle baking soda on the steaks and let them sit for about 15 to 20 minutes. (I learned this tip in a great course I took: The Science of Gastronomy at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.) Then rinse them and fry them in a pressure cooker.
- 2
In a saucepan, boil 4 tomatillos, a piece of onion, a clove of garlic, and a piece of jalapeño pepper (optional). When they are soft and have changed color, blend them with 2 teaspoons of bouillon powder or salt. Pour the mixture over the steaks, add 2 zucchinis cut into strips, frozen poblano pepper strips, and frozen corn kernels. Cover the pot, and once it reaches pressure, cook for 30 minutes.
- 3
I served them with rice on the side.

Beef Steak With Sauce Beef Steak With Sauce
My kids don't like ready-made sauce because it's too spicy for them. I created this recipe so that even my kids can enjoy delicious sauce.Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper right before you cook it.Adding the butter to the vegetable oil gives the meat a delicious looking brown color! It easy to burn so be careful! When the meat is seared, lower the heat. Recipe by fulilin mama cookpad.japan -
Steak With Lots of Vegetables- Wasabi Garlic Sauce Steak With Lots of Vegetables- Wasabi Garlic Sauce
In our house, we serve steak with tons of vegetables on top.You can enjoy lots of meat and lots of vegetables too. The sauce is my original recipe. It's easy since it can be made in the microwave. Wasabi goes so well with this.If you have the meat at room temperature before cooking it, it will cook up nicely. Season with salt and pepper just before cooking. Be sure to dry off the vegetables well. For 4 servings. Recipe by Muuko cookpad.japan -

Steak Cubes with Garlic Shiso Miso Sauce Steak Cubes with Garlic Shiso Miso Sauce
This is one of my husband's favorite dishes, so we have it quite often -- especially in the summer, when there's lots of fresh shiso to pick.Cutting the meat into cubes helps shorten the cooking time and creates more surfaces for the sauce to coat.I used beef when I took these pictures, but economical pork shoulder or chicken (thigh, breast meat, or tenders) are delicious in this recipe too. Also, be sure to adjust the amount of sauce to the amount of meat you're using, so that it doesn't get too salty.Yields 1 to 2 servings. Beef and Pork Hamburger Steaks With Salt-Leek Sauce Beef and Pork Hamburger Steaks With Salt-Leek Sauce
I love beef tongue with leek-salt sauce! I used inexpensive mixed ground meat to make hamburgers using that type of sauce. If you are cooking these at a table on a griddle, make them thin and press down hard on them with a spatula, and also make them bite size. Enjoy with a squeeze of lemon on so that they taste like beef tongue.Microwaved onions won't cool down immediately, so if you complete step 1 before everything else, your workflow will go smoothly.I wanted to have the feeling of eating "meat!" so I didn't add any fillers or binders such as bread crumbs or egg. Beef Steak with Onion Sauce Beef Steak with Onion Sauce
This is an abbreviated version of Chaliapin steak (a steak marinated in onions, a Japanese western-style dish). The sautéed onions form the base of the sauce, so sauté them slowly and patiently, taking care not to let them burn.As long as the onions are well sautéed, you can make a delicious sauce with just water, without needing any wine or sake. For 1 serving. Recipe by Shizure cookpad.japan
