Gulkand Kulfi
Steps
- 1
Firstly boil the milk properly. Then add some chopped cashews into it. Now start boiling it until the milk reduces to half of its consistency.
- 2
Them add gulkand and mix it well.
- 3
Then add rose syrup and rose essence and mix them well together. Now add sugar or condensed milk and give it a good mix.
- 4
Switch off the flame; let it cool down then pour the mixture into the mould. I have used tiny paper cups as moulds. You can use your regular kulfi or ice-cream moulds too.
- 5
Cover the cups with aluminum foil. Make a cut with a knife, in the between, as shown in the image below. Now insert a stick in each cups as shown.
- 6
Now keep them in a freezer for overnight or until it sets completely. Now demould them by cutting the paper cups with the help of a scissor. Enjoy your gulkand kulfis by drizzling some rose syrup on it.
