Air fryer Masala Papad

We all love to have papad in our special meals , especially fried ones. But nowadays, everyone wants to cut calories, so instead of deep frying, let's air fry our papads so that they contain less oil, less calories and can be a crunchy munchy snacks occasionally.
✅Being a Nutritionist, here is a word of caution:
In case if you have high blood pressure, avoid these as commercial ready made papads have high amounts of salt in them.You can make home made low salt papad without papad khaar and eat them on special occasions as a light snack.

First, keep the air fryer to preheat on medium power for 5 minutes.

Place a silicon lining mat on the air fryer mesh. Then brush oil on the papad on both sides. If you don't have the silicon mat, brush the air fryer mesh with cooking oil.

Place on the mesh. Close the air fryer tray. Let it air cook for 1 minute on medium heat.. Then turn over and cook from the other side.

Repeat this process one more time if papad is not cooked well or remains white. When small brown spots appear, remove the papad in a plate, sprinkle with Chaat masala or any other masala of your choice and serve with a hot cup of tea. Enjoy guilt free.
