Start by washing all the dal and rice properly together 2 to 3 times.

Now to the cooker, add oil, cloves, cinnamon, mustard and jeera, dried red chilli and let them pop.

Now add the washed dal and rice and give a mix.

Add 3.5 times water along with turmeric powder, jeera-coriander powder and hing and cook for 4 whistles.

Plate the khichdi, garnish with chopped coriander leaves, serve and enjoy✨
