Steps

Wash both maize and beans and mix them

Then put them in a pressure cooker for 1hr or in a jiko for 3hrs it should cook until it becomes soft

Then wash and chop the onions, tomatoes and coriander

Into another cooking pan put 1 tbsp of oil

Add the diced onions and fry till golden brown

Then add the tomatoes together with the chopped coriander

Fry for a few minutes and the add the boiled maize and beans.

Mix the Githeri for a few minutes and serve while hot with Tea
