Ingredients

10 minutes prep. time 30 minutes

1 cupall-purpose flour - maida
1/4 cupsemolina - sooji
1/2 cuppowdered sugar
1/4 cupghee - clarified butter
Milk as required to knead a dough
2 dropsvanilla essence
2 dropsedible red color
2 dropsedible green color
Oil to deep fry kul kul
1 pinchsalt
1 tsppowdered sugar

10 minutes prep. time 30 minutes

In a bowl pour ghee, add sooji. Mix well. Keep aside for 5 minutes.

Now add maida, powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla essence. Mix well to get crumbly texture. Add milk as required to make a dough.

Make 3 equal portions of the dough. Add red color in 1 portions and green color in another portions. Mix well in dough.

We have 3 different colors, and the dough is ready. Take unused comb or fork to give shape to kulkul. Make a thin roll of each portions, cut into small pieces.

It will take much time and keep patience to make kulkul. With the help of a fork, make all kulkuls as shown in pictures.

Heat a frying pan, add oil. On a low flame, fry kulkuls in batches. Due to sugar, it will be caramelized. Fry all.

When cools, sprinkle powdered sugar on it. So it will be coated by powdered sugar evenly.
