Heat a pan over medium heat and add ghee.
Once the ghee melts, add crushed walnuts and sauté for 30 seconds.
Remove the walnuts from the pan and set them aside on a plate.
In the same pan, add grated carrots and sauté for 5 minutes on medium heat. - 2
Add khoya to the sautéed carrots and stir well.
Mix in the fried walnuts and combine thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add sugar and mix until fully incorporated.
Finally, add a little ghee and cardamom powder, stirring to enhance the flavor. - 3
Your Black Carrot and Walnut Halwa is ready! Garnish it with slivered almonds and serve warm.
